The Locarno Snooker Club is situated in Slateford Road in the west end of Edinburgh. The club was formally known as the New Carlton Club.
It was a very traditional club with its original panelled walls and large rediators.
Today The Locrno attracts the connoisseur! With many of Edinburgh's top players using it as their venue of choice.
There are many teams playing from the club, who compete in the local and district leagues.
Competions are run on a regular basis; whether it be a Sunday handicap, a junior league or national competions.
Locarno is open to the public and no membership is required.
